The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson
This is an excellent book, not to mention it sold 9 million copies in 2 years. I actually read this several years ago, but I gave it a revisit and I'm so glad I did. One man says a short quick prayer to God and God grants him his request. Mr. Wilkinson digs deeper into this man and his prayer and we all are better for it. Why is this prayer so important? What was Jabez asking for? Will God do the same for me? Read it, and this and many more questions like them will be answered. The Bible says, that we have not because we ask not. I suggest you ask. Right now, I'm asking you to get your hands on this book and read it. It was a great blessing to me and I believe it will be one to you as well.
Beyond Jabez Expanding Your Borders by Bruce Wilkinson
This book also explores the golden nuggets to be found in that brief prayer of Jabez. The prayer itself is found in 1 Chronicles 4:10 in the Holy Bible. Other people have adapted this prayer and prayed it for themselves with fantastic results. See what having a sincere heart and saying a devoted prayer will do for your walk with God. God has a plan and purpose for all of us, this book may help you see more clearly the great and exciting life you could be living, and how you fit into God's plans. I highly recommend both of these books.
The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson
OK, I think I can safely say the Mr. Wilkinson has become one of my favorite writers now. This is a great book. In this book the author lets you travel along with a guy named Ordinary, a Nobody, who lives in the Land of Familiar and is on his way to pursuing his Big Dream. It is a very practical and easy to read. You will see elements of the human nature in an entirely different way. If you have a dream, don't miss reading this book. On this journey we all make through life, we can certainly improve our odds or reaching our goals with some fresh insights and good advice. This is a must read.

Books I'm Reading Now
The Names of the Holy Spirit ...this is the most comprehensive compilation of the names of The Holy Spirit that I have ever heard of or read. I discovered this a few weeks ago and immediately downloaded it to my kindle. I can't wait to finish it. Then I'm going to read his other 2 books titled:
My Father's Names, and The Names of Jesus Christ. Buy these books. Read these books. And you might be amazed like me at what you didn't know about the names of God.
The Kingdom & Power & Glory by Chuck & Nancy Missler ...this book is excellent and it should be required reading for all believers. I plan to do a more extensive review of this book when I am done reading it. But for now, I will just say: In my experience, as a church attendee for the vast majority of my life, I have never heard anyone teach what you will learn from this book. Brothers and Sisters getting into heaven is awesome, great, fantastic, stupendous. It beats the socks off spending eternity in hell. But being loaded down with rewards in heaven tops just getting in by a million times infinity. God has tremendous rewards set aside for the faithful and obedient of his children. And you don't want to miss out on them. You don't have to work to get into heaven. Jesus did all the heavy lifting on that. When we believe in his work we inherit heaven. But after we are born-again, if you want these rewards you will have to work for them. And that work takes place right here right now, while you and I walk this planet Earth.
I'm not finished with this book yet, but just from the bit I have read so far, I would encourage you to please read this book. It could very possibly change the way you experience your eternity with Christ.
