Got Salvation????  What is your answer to this question?  Is it, "I don't know."  Is it, "I've been baptized."  Is it, "I don't need it."

Well if your answer is anything other than "YES" then please read on. 

I know that I might be talking to someone right now that has never even heard of a scripture.  If you want to see scriptures click onto my "Scriptures" page.  But here, I'm just going to talk to you straight, without all the church lingo. 

This is what I know.  There will be a day of judgment, you will be the one tried, and God will be the Judge.  What will be judged is your life.  Those found guilty of their sins will be cast into Hell.  Unfortunately all those judged will be guilty.  Those that accepted Jesus as their personal Savior have already judged themselves and have right standing with God through Christ. 

We are guilty.  Long ago when God made the first man, Adam, God gave him some specific instructions to follow about what he could and should not eat.

Adam didn't pay attention and violated God's law.  That's what sin is, it is a violation of God's laws.  Well that guilt passed upon all of us.  At this point we were all guilty and there were no options.  We were guilty, and we were going to hell. 

Then God sent his Son, Jesus, to give us an option.  We can now fix our sin problem by accepting Jesus as our Savior.  When we do this all the evidence against us is washed away.  Then when we stand before the Judge, God, we will be declared innocent of all the charges and given entrance into Heaven.

Why should you care about going to heaven or hell?  Because, it is only where you will spend eternity.  Heaven is an awesome and beautiful place.  It is where God's throne is.  It is a place of perfect peace and harmony.  You will only know joy, love, and peace in heaven.  It is full of light and the glory of the Lord.  And you will never know pain, or anger, or loss again.  You will receive eternal blessings and rewards there.  And nothing even remotely bad will ever happen to you ever again.  Hell, on the other hand, is a place of torment, and despair and darkness.  All the evil spirits and demons will be there, along with everyone who never asked Jesus to be their Savior.  You will be among all those who rejected Jesus when they had a chance to accept him on earth.  You will be imprisoned, in a horrible pit, and cast into fire.  You will be exhausted but never allowed to rest.  You will burn but never be consumed.  You will experience such torture and agony that you will want to die, but you won't be able to die.  Your sentence and punishment will last forever.  There will be no appeals.  You will not have an opportunity to choose Jesus once you are there.  You want to avoid hell at all cost.  Forever is a long time to be in darkness, and pain and misery. 

Jesus saves us by what he did when he walked upon the earth.  When he was in the world, he never sinned, that means he never violated God's laws.  This made it possible for him to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins.  The punishment for sin is death.  Now here is the love part.  God loved his creation, man, so much that he sent his only son, Jesus on a special assignment from heaven.

He told his only Son to die for our sins.  Jesus had done nothing wrong. Man had broken all of God's commandments, statutes, and laws.  Jesus was tempted by everything we are, but he never yielded to any of it.  That is what made him a perfect substitute for us.  Now Jesus had a choice to make.  He could refuse to be nailed to a cross and hung to death, which would preserve his life.  Or he could surrender, or lay down his life for us.  Thankfully, he chose to die for you and me.

Now we have options.  You can remain the way you are. That would be a sinner.  And on judgment day, sadly you will join the other non-repenting souls trapped in the burning flames and torture found in hell.  Or you can invite Jesus to save your soul from this fate by asking him to come into your heart.

That's it.  Just for the asking, God will save you.  When you accept the Son of God, you get the Father also, and the Holy Spirit comes and lives inside of you.  The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth.  You get a new heavenly citizenship, and a legal adoption into the family of God.  You become God's new daughter or son, and all of heaven is happy about it and rejoices.

So now, that you know the story, will you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?  It's really simple.  In less than a minute you can secure your home in heaven, and begin to live a better life on earth.  Just say this prayer and sincerely mean it.  (God will no if your faking it, so don't try to fool Him)

The Prayer:  "Dear God, I now realize that I am a sinner.  I am guilty of violating your laws.  And if I died right now, I would be judged as guilty and sent to hell.  You must really love me to send your only Son to die in my place, for my sins.  I now believe in your son, Jesus.  And that he died and was raised to life again.  And right now, I accept your gift of salvation for my soul.  And I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Savior.  I am truly sorry for my sins, and from this day on, I want your Holy Spirit to direct me in all my ways of living and doing what is right.  I am turning away from my old way of living and turning to you.  Please forgive me and be my Lord." 

If you just said that prayer, and meant it with all your heart, welcome to the family of God. Your name has just been written in the "Book of Life." and you will never be the same again.  Jesus has come into your heart and saved you from eternal death by the shedding of his blood on the cross.  And you have a new Heavenly Father, and a multitude of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Now, ask God to direct you to a good church where the word is being preached and explained.  Begin to read the Holy Bible, and discover all of the added benefits of becoming a believer, and child of God.  There are precious promises made to believers that you should know about.  You can also go to the "Services"   and "Archive" pages of this website and listen to the gospel right now.
