It’s Resurrection Day!

We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ today.  Praise God.  On this day Jesus announced that all power was given to him in heaven and in earth.

This is the same Jesus that saves those who come to him today.  The same Jesus that was crucified, buried, and risen.  It is the same Jesus who will leave the throne and his seat at the right hand of God, his father to call the church from earth to meet him in the air.

The Rapture is possible because Jesus rose from the dead. 

1 Cor 15:13, 14

13If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith. 

But Jesus has been raised from the dead.  Many witnesses saw the post resurrected Christ.  Others also saw him ascend into heaven.  So our preaching has worth and our faith in him is not in vain.

When he returns will you be among his disciples?  The saints, the believers, who make up his body, his church?  Will you join Christ in the air that day?  Receive your new body designed for eternal life?

Or will you remain here on earth among those that have been left behind? 

This is the day, this is the moment, that you should make your decision to believe on the name of Jesus.

He’s not coming again to teach and preach, heal and die for our sins.  Been there, done that.  When he stands on the cloud and calls up his church, there won’t be time for you to get ready.  You need to already BE READY!

I invite you to rise up and declare your faith in the only one who can forgive sins and give you eternal life.  The risen Savior of the world is waiting to receive you with open arms.  Will you come?

I hope so.  I know many of my brothers and sisters are not able to join in fellowship with our friends and families because of the current crisis and social distancing being observed.  But Jesus is in us and with us nevertheless.

Please join me in telling our Lord and Savior thank you, for who he is and all he has done for us.

Let’s praise the King of King and Lord of Lords today.  Give him all the glory and honor due his name.

I truly believe that better days are on the horizon.  This too shall pass.
