    The 2020 Vote

Like my little sticker?  Yep, I am announcing, "I voted."  I went early and stood in line for three hours and thirtyfive minutes to do it, but I am glad I did.  I am glad that all of you who participated in the vote braved weather conditions, the coronavirus, sickness, time constraints, physical disabilites and anything else you had to tolerate or endure to let your vote count for the Presidential candidate of your choice.  The Associated Press has called this race. Electoral vote counts from The Associated Press are based on certified election results and show Joe Biden with 306 certified electoral votes. And as the winner of the election only needs to reach 270 votes, Joe Biden has been declared the winner of the election and the next President of the U.S.

If you voted, thank you for participating in the process.  As you could expect there are millions that are happy with the result and others who are not.  And whether your candidate won or loss, we need to remember that God is still in control.

Listen to Daniel 4:17 “ ‘The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’

Also Romans 13:1, 2  Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

:2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Friends we are in the end times.  And things are being put in motion and put in place to prepare for the rapture of the saints and the eventual coming of the Lord.  What is going on in our nation (the U.S.A.) is bigger than all of us.  We don't know and most likely none of us see all the things that are being shaken and moved to prepare for the coming of the end.

What I will say is that God is still on the throne, and his plans and purposes will continue to go forth undeterred until completion.  No mere man can stop God's agenda.  As Christians, God calls for his people to pray for those who have rule and authority of us.

1Timothy 2:2  Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

That is what I have always done and will continue to do.  We should also not forget:

1 John 3:23: And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment. ... 1 John 4:12: No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

We may or may not agree with how each other may have voted, but we must agree with what God expects from his people to do in all circumstances.

So let us who know Christ exhibit the love and grace he has placed within us at all times. When we do that we all win.

Acts 17:11  Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Paul admired this quality in the Bereans.  We should all be Bereans.  Even when it comes to this ministry.  Be a Berean.  Don't just take my word for anything. Study the word for yourself to see if I got it right.
